24 movie featuring Suriya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu had created a great sensation in the box office during the release day itself. 24 Movie review had also praised by many critics around the industry. Day 1 collections of 24 Movie were higher in the most on the South Indian cinemas than any other Telugu or Tamil movie released on the day. 24 film had released in a quite fierce competition with the other movie named ‘Supreme’.
The sensation was ruled up by 24 Movie in most of the cinemas while Supreme was successful in wooing the Telugu movie freaks during the release day. 24 is a high budget film with an average spending of around 750 Million Indian Rupees (11 Million $), Most of the scenes were shot at the AVM Studios, Chennai.
The film stars Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menen in the leading roles, which will be a definite point towards achieving an actual level in the industry with the 24 box office collections. The script of the movie was old and drafted in 2010 as the production of the movie was stopped during the period because of some budget issues.

Actor Saravanan Sivakumar also better known as Suriya in the industry, was the person who took the production on himself. He had played three roles in the film with some appearances again and again. AR Rahman composes a positive thing about the movie as score and soundtrack album. Vairamuthu and Madhan Karky write the lyrics to the songs. Eros Music released the soundtrack album on 11 April 2016.
