Ajit Singh Deol Dies: The father of actor Abhay Deol and younger brother of Bollywood veteran actor Dharmendra died yesterday in Mumbai. He breathed his last in the evening. [see: Muharram.]
He was suffering from gall bladder issues for the last one month and going through treatment since then.
An insider told us, “His condition became worse since the past few days, thus he was admitted to Sunridge Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai. The doctors tried their best with the medical efforts they could, but he died at 6:20 pm.”

He had been a part of numerous Punjabi films and some of the Bollywood movies including Khhotte Sikkay which released in 1974, Meharbaani release of 1982, and Barsaat (1995).
Ajit Deol’s funeral took place at Pawan Hans located in Juhu at 9 am today. Annu Kapoor, director Anil Sharma, Veeru Devgn (Ajay Devgn’s father), Anees Bazmee and Shashi Ranjan were present.
