Aligarh Movie Review Rating: Aligarh was one of the most controversial movie of this year. Despite protest the movie is going to release today, it’s really admirable fact the hard work done by the actors in the film should be praised at any point of time. The story is about a homosexual professor and his fight with the system to beat out the odds.

Dr Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras aka Manoj Bajpayee is Marathi professor at Aligarh Muslim University, and he was thrown out from the job because of his homosexuality. In the whole movie he defines and fight out the system to show everyone that one should be recognised with his skills not because of his sex.

Aligarh Movie Review

Controversy: The controversy arose by some anti-social elements in various parts of Uttar Pradesh. One of the controversy was highlighting Muslim university and a homosexual. But lately most those people came to know that Aligarh is university is a centre of fine art and literature, hence it should not be politicised or regionalised.

Coming back to Aligarh Movie review, the second most impressive thing about the movie is cast. Probably Manoj Bajpayee have earlier decided to give his best performance before the shoot. From the very first minute to the emotional ending, every scene is well performed. All the way, it’s a very crucial topic and he was need to be very very careful.

In 1996, Aligarh Muslim University charged Siras with sexually harassing a woman. Although the charges was fake and the case got withdrawn before lodging any attempt with the court. The university deans are strongly against homosexuality (Some believe because of religion barriers, whatever the reason may be). AMU Sent two people to record Siras’s video having homosexual sex with another man.

Aligarh Review Rating

Lately the university suspended the teacher for doing something which could dilute its reputation. However they have taken him lightly,  Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras fought his case and won it.

Have to applaud the mind blowing work of Director of Aligarh Movie, Hansal Mehta and Screenplay of Apurva Asrani. Aligarh is expected to do a great business throughout the country.

The movie may got series of awards. Based on true events, the story is of one of the forgotten pages of Indian history which should be remembered.
