Allu Arjun Signs a Telugu Remake of ‘Kanithan’: Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently running in his best phase in his career. His movie Race Gurram gave him the much-needed boost up in his career. This Surendar Reddy directorial minted Rs 62 crores in its final run which is huge for the actor. (see: Mahesh Babu to do a new film with Murugadoss.)

Shruti Haasan played the female lead and SS Thaman composed the music. Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) produced the movie on Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. He then teamed up with Trivikram Srinivas and the movie is said to be a family entertainer titled S/O Satyamurthy.

Exactly, one year after the release of Race Gurram, the movie released and ended up as a massive hit for summer last year. Samantha played the female lead in the movie and Adah Sharma, Nithya Menon has been seen in other prominent roles in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and S Radha Krishna produced S/O Satyamurthy on Haarika and Hassinee Creations banner.

Allu Arjun then teamed up with talented filmmaker Gunasekhar for a periodic drama in which he played a cameo. Anushka and Rana Daggubati played the lead roles in the movie which has been titled as Rudhramadevi. His performance as Gona Gannareddy elevated the film well and his performance is said to be the major highlight of the film.

Allu Arjun is currently shooting for his next movie titled Sarainodu which is said to be a mass entertainer laced with emotional drama. Talented director Boyapati Srinu is directing the movie which is in final stages of shoot. Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine are playing the female leads in the movie and SS Thaman is composing the music.

Made on a budget of Rs 50 crores, the movie has done a terrific pre-release business of Rs 60 crores throughout. Allu Aravind is producing the movie on Geetha Arts banner and the movie has been slated for release on April 21st during summer holidays.

Allu Arjun has a number of movies in the pipeline and Tamil director Lingusamy narrated a script to the hero but he did not approve it. Even talented director Harish Shankar narrated a script with which Bunny was not completely convinced. The latest news reveals that he is interested in a Tamil remake titled Kanithan.

The movie has been directed by a debutant TN Santhosh and Atharvaa, Catherine Tresa, Bhagyaraj and Tarun Arora played the lead roles. The movie released all over on February 26th and is running successfully all over. The movie deals with fake certificate mafia and is produced by S Thanu on V Creations. Allu Arjun will watch the movie in a special screening and he will take a call soon.
