Arrow Season 4 Episode 19 Promo, Trailer, Air Date, Spoilers 4×19 Synopsis, Images: The CW channel has aired the promo for the nineteenth episode of the fourth season of “Arrow”. The episode is named “Canary Cry”, which pretty much indicates that it would be all about Laurel’s death and its aftermath. The episode is to be aired on the coming Wednesday, 27 April at 9pm EST on The CW.

The series would resume itself after a three week break. The producers are taking these breaks in order to build the hype for the show and eventually drag the episodes to last until the month of May.

Arrow Season 4 Episode 19

Following is the official synopsis for the nineteenth episode:

Oliver (Stephen Amell) and the team struggle to come to terms with Laurel’s (Katie Cassidy) death, especially Diggle (David Ramsey) who is overwhelmed with guilt for choosing to believe Andy (guest star Eugene Byrd) had changed. Meanwhile, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) refuses to believe his daughter is really gone and asks Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) to help bring her back. A recent Black Canary sighting in Star City only seems to prove his theory that Laurel isn’t actually dead.

With Laurel’s unexpected death in the last episode, fans of the show would want Felicity Smoak to rejoin the Arrow team. And we should not rule out the possibility of this. She might actually rejoin the team to fill Laurel’s void, somehow. Felicity quit the team after she broke off her engagement with Oliver in an earlier episode, but this tragedy may compel Felicity to fall back into the fold.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim spoke to a news website about possibility of Felicity’s return to the team. He said and I quote:

“There are two issues at play for Felicity. She’s broken up with Oliver and she’s also broken up with the team essentially. And in episode nineteen, we’ll see the undoing of one of those decisions.”

Story writer Wendy Mericle has already declared that Felicity’s return might not set everything alright. He said this in context with the pair of Oliver and Felicity.

Mericle said, “She could come back to the team and that does not mean that she’s back together with Oliver. We started off this season with Felicity really wanting to come back and do this because she herself enjoys this kind of vigilante lifestyle, but that is separate from Oliver.

In the Season 4 premiere, he didn’t want to; it was more about her making herself happy than anything else. So she’ll be grappling in some ways with that. The coming episodes will echo [the premiere] in terms of where a lot of the characters end up, specifically Oliver and Felicity,” she added.

Arrow season 2 spoilers

However, Laurel will live through the TV series of ‘The Flash’ and ‘The Legends of Tomorrow’. Sarah return to Arrow and will learn about her sister’s death as she saw in the year 2046. Well, it will be shocking for her to know that she died much before that.

Laurel’s Earth 2 version will debut on The Flash season 2 episode 22 as the Black Siren, close to what the character in DC Comics. Black Siren is a meta human and probably evil. And not any more like of Black Canary of Arrow was.

In the extended trailer for the Arrow’s next episode, Diggle is seen going reckless as he seems to be the most hit with the death of one of their own. He blames himself and in the coping up process, he even attacked Ruve Adams, wife of Damien Darhk.

On the other hand, captain Launce is not ready to believe that his daugher died. He seems to be quite optimistic about seeing her again. But, in a flashback, Laurel had asked Oliver to not to bring her back.
