Ferrari got to have good news from the pre-season test which took place in Barcelona. But, only that will not be sufficient to challenge and defeat Mercedes, the defending champions which had created its own league last time. Mercedes won the season with 703 points while Ferrari could garner only 428.

The only thing sure for Ferrari is that they are faster than Mercedes, but being faster doesn’t mean better. Well, we will have to watch the game and wait for the results which will give answers to our questions. Ferrari has improved the speed in their cars significantly. Sebastian Vettel, the best driver for Ferrari, is very much confident of winning, but at the same time, he is aware of the title threats posed by the Mercedes’ drivers such as Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. Last year, there were only 19 races, but this year the F1 tournament will be longer by two races.
Vettel stated, “We are confident, but we know what we are desiring is very much ambitious. We will give our best, and there is no doubt in that. Personally, I believe that we can reach closer than where we were in 2015. This year is going to be longer, so we have time.”
Being the top teams in F1, these have been in talks every time throughout the season. However, it would be interesting to watch out for teams like Red Bull, Force India, Sauber, etc.
Force India showed progress and potential in the last season. This time, they are keen and confident of improving their place. They got put in the fifth position last year. Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez are the key players for Force India while Daniel Ricciardo is the key driver for Red Bull.
Moreover, it will be interesting to watch the performance of F1 debutant team Haas in the AGP.
