Airlift Collection : Indian audience has always encouraged patriotic films and the movies which had heart touching content ended up as huge winners at the box-office. He recently came up with Holiday in the direction of AR Murugadoss which ended as a huge hit and is a remake of Tamil super hit film Thupakki. Sonakshi Sinha played the female lead in the film. In 2015, Akshay Kumar came up with Baby which is a huge hit all over.

The movie has been based on a real-life incident and is about the biggest human evacuation that happened in the world. The incident took place during the civil war between Kuwait and Iraq during which lakhs of Indians have been struck on the roads without food and shelter.

The movie collected Rs 83.5 crores in its first week among the domestic circles and the movie smashed all the existing records of Akshay Kumar’s films. His last highest collection was Rowdy Rathore which minted Rs 79.2 crores. Airlift collected Rs 107.62 crores in 12 days of its box office run across the country.
Airlift roared across the International circles too and the film minted over Rs 40 crores across the world which have been huge. Akshay Kumar thanked the audience for making the film a huge hit.
