Airlift Movie Review Rating: The ‘Khiladi’ Kumar of Bollywood – Akshay is once again back with a patriotic film titled ‘Airlift’. It is scheduled to be released on 22nd January 2016, i.e., this Friday. The film stars a fresh pair of Akshay with Nimrat Kaur and Raja Krishna Menon has directed it. (see: Airlift pre-review.)
The makers have come with another powerful story as it was in ‘D-Day’ and ‘Baby’. Based on a true story, it generates the feeling of oneness and to do something for one’s own nation. It is based on a true story of biggest human evacuation in which 1.7 lakh Indians were evacuated from Kuwait when Iraq invaded in. A man took the responsibility and took 488 flights in a span of 59 days.

Not everyone knows about this incident. It happened during the Iraq-Kuwait Gulf war in the 1990s. One man which Akshay Kumar has portrayed in the film took the charge and did it. It was so big that it created the Guinness World Record for India.
