There is some good news for the fans waiting for Sultan Movie updates so eagerly. One still leaked from Sultan Movie shooting can be seen on social media today as Anushka Sharma is sitting in her wedding dress as the bride. The photo reportedly belongs to a scene featuring Sultan-Aafra marriage.
The bridal dress is designed by Diva’ni, the Bollywood fashion brand which is all set to open their wings in Pakistan to this month. As a tagline, the company has written on their Facebook page, ‘Diva’ni is possibly world’s only fashion brand, scripted by cinema & directed by fashion. ‘
The attire is part of a unique sequence in the song “Sachi Muchi” by Mohit Chauhan from the Salman Khan-starrer “Sultan”, which is releasing on Eid on July 6. The movie is expected to do more business than last year’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, according to film critics.
Anushka Sharma’s marriage still leaked from Sultan MovieAnushka is featuring traditional Indian bridal ensemble on a wedding set in Haryana during the Sultan’s shooting and this one of the most beautiful looks of the actress in the movie. This look turns out to be more special because this was the probably first look of actress where she has been seen dressed in traditional attire so beautifully.
She is seen in a handcrafted traditional chikan karri ensemble embellished with the bespoke technique of zardozi, including elements of Kundan, gota, dabka and naqshi. This ensemble is a part of Diva’ni ‘Lafz’ collection.
Talking to media about her attire in the film, Anushka shows her excitement and curiosity for Sultan Movie initial launch. She said ‘I am excited about ‘Sultan.’ It’s the first time that I am playing a wrestler. Aarfa (my character) has different looks in the film — some traditional and some sporty, but mostly sporty.’
“The traditional outfit which is ivory chikankari is beautiful. Diva’ni team did a fantastic job in designing and executing it.”
The ‘Lafz’ line boasts the Mughal art of rendering delicate patterns in pristine white threads on fine mulls and muslin.
