The movie has been in news from the past few years, but Bhansali waited for the right cast to be set. After a huge search, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone played the lead roles in this periodic epic which has been made on a budget of Rs 210 crores. BajiraoMastani released in 6000 screens across the world and the movie collected Rs 12. 80 crores on its opening day which has been decent.

9 Days BM 2nd Saturday Box Office

Bajirao Mastani minted Rs 46.77 crores in its first weekend and the movie caught pace slowly as it received tough competition from Shahrukh Khan’s latest movie and the movie picked up on weekdays. BajiraoMastani collected Rs 98.40 crores in eight days and on the ninth day the movie collected Rs 12.10 crores making the total Rs 110.50 crores which has been decent.

With no movies releasing in the coming week, Bajirao Mastani is expected to collect huge money till the first week of January next year.
