Bigg Boss 9: Start Date and Timing Announced By Colors TV; BB9 To Kick-Off October 11

Bigg Boss 9 Start Date, Time: Let’s head towards the ninth season of the highly controversial show. The show BB is being promoted as ‘double trouble’. It will premier on October 11, 2015. The program, as usual, will be aired on Colors TV, the timings of the show are currently not been finalized, as per the reports, it’s 10:30 in the evening.

The reason being for Colors is that the show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (9 pm) and the Swaragini (9:30 pm) are doing well. Even, the Swaragini is managing to maintain its position among the top 5 Hindi Serials presently. The same is with Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, both are receiving good TRPs.

“This change in the time slot will definitely affect the viewership and ad flow rate for the show. This year some drop in ad rate is understandable as compared to the previous year. All brands of the show are very unhappy after hearing this news because the prime time gives more visibility,” said a senior media planner.

Another media planner added,”The late show timings will make the brands to post question mark’ they certainly become willingness to come forward and in turns the ad rated pricing will matter. But we all know that the Salman Khan’s brand name value has gone up. So the viewership for Bigg Boss and 

ad periods have impact for initial episodes, But I feel that the Colors TV will give this show the prime time after some time. We can say that the BB9 will keep gaining the charm.”

The sponsors of the show include: SnapDeal, Maruti Suzuki and powered by Oppo Mobile India.

While the show timing is 10:30 pm, however, he initial episode of Big Boss 9 will be telecasted at 9 pm.

And when the Bigg Boss 9 is not aired at 10:30 pm, Colors will continue with the current schedule of repeating the last episode of Ishq Ka Rang Safed at 10:30 pm followed by Code Red episodes 11 pm, as per the sources. The channel may reschedule BB9 next morning.

It will be very interesting to see whether the Big Boss 9 tagline ‘double trouble’ will have some effect in the performance or at the show’s TRP.
