Most of his films ended up as debacles but won awards and the hearts of the audience. Though Sharwanand struggled for offers and remuneration, he always preferred films that convey a social message. Kranthi Madhav directed the film and Nithya Menon played the female lead. KS Rama Rao produced the film after which Sharwanand started making his moves towards commercial films. He has been highly impressed by a script narrated by Merlapaka Gandhi who made his directorial debut with Venkatadri Express starring Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh.
