Hero 6th Day Collection / Hero 1st Wednesday Box Office Report: The latest production by the Salman Khan films has been a very good experience for the debutante actors but according to the business point of view and being a film by Salman Khan – we guess it has not been up to the mark.

There are lots of buzz and speculations in the industry regarding Hero collections – whether it will be a hit or will it cross the mark of Rs. 100 crore or not?

 

Hero started its journey at the box office by collecting Rs. 6.85 crore on Friday, i.e., opening. Because of the publicity done by Salman Khan and Eros Now, it became the highest grosser for any newcomer in the industry.

Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, the son and the daughter of Aditya Pancholi and Suniel Shetty respectively debuted in the Bollywood with this film. The film was purely backed by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

The very next weekday – Saturday, it witnessed a slight drop in the occupancy as well as the collections. However, it made decent earning by collecting Rs. 7.63 crores on Sunday. But, after the opening weekend, it faced somewhat doom like situation. On Monday, it got Rs. 3.03 crore and on Tuesday, Rs. 2.45 crore as the box office collection.

Taran Adarsh reported, “#Hero registers a sharp decline on Tue. Fri 6.85 cr, Sat 6.62 cr, Sun 7.63 cr, Mon 3.03 cr, Tue 2.45 cr. Total: ₹ 26.58 cr. India biz.”

Hero further fell down and earned only about Rs. 2.2 crore*. It means that its production cost will be recovered back soon but the profit will not be much.
