Kamal Haasan’s Special Plans for Cheekati Raajyam; Release Date: Padmashri Kamal Haasan has been entertaining the audience from the past 40 years and the government of India awarded him with Padmashri for his contribution to Indian cinema. Kamal slowed up and he has been selective with his films in the recent years. However he has been signing back to back films now and he already managed to have two releases this year with Uttama Villan and Papanasam. Though Uttama Villan could not impress the audience, Papanasam ended as one of the biggest hits in the career of Kamal. The movie has been a remake of Malayalam super hit film Drishyam. Kamal is now back with his upcoming movie Thoonga Vaanam in the direction of Rajesh M Selva who made his directorial debut. Rajesh has been a long time associate of Kamal and the movie has been shot in just 36 working days which is huge. Trisha, Prakash Raj, Sampath Raj and Madhu Shalini played the other prominent roles in the film. The movie released in Tamil as Thoonga Vaanam on November 10th and the film received exceptional response from the audience all over. The movie is a smashing hit all over Tamil Nadu and Kamal produced the movie on his own.

Cheekati Raajyam

Kamal has been struggling to impress the Telugu audience with a huge blockbuster and he has shot the movie simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The Telugu version of the film has been titled as Cheekati Rajyam and it will hit the screens on November 20th

all over the world. Kamal has special plans for the film and he will be promoting Cheekati Rajyam aggressively in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. For this he has initially met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu in his camp office in Vijayawada.

Kamal revealed that there have been no political talks and Kamal met Babu for special permission to hold premieres across Andhra Pradesh. The first premiere will be held in Vijayawada in which Kamal will be present and he invited Chandra Babu Naidu for the special screening. Kamal is also in plan for a special screening in Hyderabad with a gap of 6 hours between them so that he can make his presence in both the capitals. He also revealed that he will stay in Hyderabad for a week promoting the movie and interacting with people all over.

Cheekati Raajyam

Ghibran composed the music and Cheekati Rajyam is said to be a crime thriller. Kamal will be seen as a cop in the film which has been shot completely during the night. The movie discusses about the drug mafia and Kamal Haasan produced Cheekati Rajyam on Sri Raajkamal Films International banner. Cheekati Rajyam is expected to release in over 1500 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on November 20th.
