With many movies around, the makers have initially planned to release the film during Diwali. Super talented director Krish who directed sensible and heart touching movies like Gamyam, Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum directed the movie. The theatrical trailer of the film has raised the heat on the flick and the business has been closed in all the regions.

The movie opened with packed houses all over and it collected Rs 5.5 crores on the first day of its release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The collections have been quite strong in overseas areas in which the movie witnessed huge occupancy. On day one the movie collected Rs 65 lakhs which is huge for a small film. With the holiday season around, the collections have been quite strong on the second day too and Kanche collected Rs 5 crores in the Telugu speaking states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Other movies Raju Gari Gadhi and Columbus too received positive word of mouth and are giving tough competitions in towns and villages.

Kanche has been a class entertainer and it impressed the multiplex audience more than the front seaters and the mass audience. The collections are expected to be very strong on Saturday and Sunday. The makers are expected to enter the safe zone by the end of first week if Kanche registers some decent figures throughout the weekdays. Varuntej and Pragya Jaiswal played the main leads in the movie and Chirantan Bhatt composed the music. The love story between the lead actors and their performances are said to be the highlights of the movie. The cinematography is the major asset for the film.

Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra have been impressive and they brought a new flavor for the film. Krish has been quite confident on the film right from the day he got the idea of the film. The whole movie unit celebrated the success of the flick in the presence of the cast and crew. With no big releases in the coming week except Nandamuri Kalyanram’s Sher, it is expected to end up collecting decent numbers. Varuntej has got lot of maturity as an actor in this movie and Pragya Jaiswal’s presence and performance is top notch. Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi produced it on First Frame Entertainments banner.
