Krishnastami 1st Day (Opening Day) Friday Box Office Collections: Talented actor Sunil has been introduced as a comedian and he ruled out Tollywood for over 10 years. He has taken U turn from comedian and he turned up as a lead actor after he made his entry as a hero. He scored a massive hit with his debut movie Andala Ramudu which ended as a blockbuster.

He has never seen back after that and he signed back to back films. He scored a massive hit with Maryada Ramanna in the direction of SS Rajamouli and received wide recognition for his performance. He then came up with Poola Rangadu and the movie too impressed the audience all over. Sunil received a wide response for his action sequences and he showcased six pack abs for the first time on screen.
After scoring super hits with many impressive films, Sunil suffered back to back debacles in his career and he received a lot of criticism all over. He has been out of commercial track and he has taken a huge gap from acting to sign a film. All his outings ended up disasters and his market has been down for some time. It was then he got a call from the leading producer Dil Raju who has been scoring back to back hits and the movie has been titled as Krishnastami.
Vasu Varma who made his debut with Naga Chaitanya’s Josh made his directorial debut with the film. After an enough gap, he came up with an engaging script on which he worked out for almost a year. Dil Raju has been quite confident on the script and he believed that the film will end up as a huge hit all over. Sunil started shooting for the movie and he has taken extra care on the film including his looks and his body. Producer Dil Raju spent a bomb on the production and Krishnastami is the costliest film of Sunil till date.
The movie is said to be a romantic family entertainer and the makers have shot the film completely in Europe, USA, Goa, and Hyderabad. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 20 crores and Sunil romanced Nikki Garlani, Dimple Chopade in the film.
Mukesh Rushi and Ashutosh Rana played the other important roles in the film. Dinesh composed the music for Krishnastami and the audio of the movie is a huge hit all over. Krishnastami released in over 1000 screens across the world and the movie received mixed response all over.
Krishnashtami collected Rs 3.5 crores on the opening day and the movie witnessed decent crowds all over the single screens. The movie is expected to maintain the same collections during the opening weekend. Dil Raju produced Krishnastami on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
