Mahesh Babu-Alia Bhatt To Romance?: Superstar Mahesh Babu is on cloud nine after the release of his latest movie Srimanthudu. Koratala Siva directed the film which brought him the much-needed success after back to back debacles like Aagadu and 1-Nenokkadine. Srimanthudu emerged as the biggest hit in the career of Mahesh till date and is the second highest grosser of Tollywood. (watch: bigg boss day 17.)
Sruthi Haasan played the female lead in the movie and Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad played the other important roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and Madhie is the cinematographer for the film. Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan produced Srimanthudu on Mythri Movie Makers banner.

Mahesh is currently shooting for his next movie titled Brahmotsavam and the shoot of the film is currently going on in Ramoji Film City in a hugely erected set. Sreekanth Addala is directing the movie which is said to be a clean family entertainer. Samantha, Kajal and Praneetha are playing the female leads in the movie. The family entertainer has a huge casting lined up and Mahesh is taking extra care for the film. He has been involving completely and has been finalizing everything for the film. Mickey J Mayor is composing the music and Prasad V Potluri is producing the movie on PVP Cinema banner. Brahmotsavam will complete shoot and will hit the screens for summer next year. Alia has recently listened to the script and she allotted her dates for the bilingual which will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. This is a huge surprise as Alia has been previously approached by many other filmmakers for which she rejected saying that she cannot allot her dates. Alia has been the first consideration for the female lead in Akhil’s debut movie Akhil but she rejected the movie after which Sayesha Saigal played the female lead. The movie will be produced by AR Murugadoss Productions in association with Fox Star Studios banner in both the languages. Mahesh is eagerly waiting for the movie and even Alia Bhatt revealed that she will be happy to play the female lead besides the Prince of Tollywood.
