Nannaku Prematho 18 days Saturday Collections and Box Office report: A great success for Junior NTR

Young Tiger NTR has been busy with multiple films and he is one of the most capable actors in Tollywood. Though he has been selecting wise scripts and is teaming up with efficient directors, Tarak failed to cross Rs 50 crores mark which has been achieved easily by many young actors.

Tarak really struggled for this mark as all his movies even after receiving decent response had to end up collecting Rs 40 crores in their final run. His last film Temper received an exceptional response from the audience however the movie failed to mint money. Puri Jagannadh directed this cop drama and NTR played a powerful cop in the film.

After a stupendous hit like Temper, he signed his next film in the direction of Sukumar and the movie has been titled as Nannaku Prematho. This emotional entertainer is about the relation between a father and his son.

Tarak played Abhi in the movie and he has taken special care on the looks of his character. The complete film has been shot in London and Spain and Nannaku Prematho has been made on a budget of Rs 55 crores. Rakul Preet Singh the played the female lead and the love story is said to be the major highlight. Rakul even dubbed for her character for the first time in Nannaku Prematho.

Nannaku Prematho wrapped up shoot by the end of December and the makers wanted to release the film for Sankranthi. With number of films already in the race, NTR has given his nod to fight it with Nandamuri Balakrishna who is ready with Dictator.

Nannaku Prematho released on January 13th across the world between huge expectations and the film received decent response from the audience. The movie smashed many opening day records as it released in over 2000 screens and it opened to packed houses.

Nannaku Prematho collected Rs 14 crores on its opening day which has been huge. With a number of movies released, the movie stood strong and collected Rs 40 crores in 10 days of its box-office run. After a stupendous run during the holidays, the movie remained strong even on weekdays and Nannaku Prematho ended up as the first Rs 50 crore mark film for Tarak.

NTR has been quite excited to know that and he revealed that the entire movie unit worked hard and believed in the script of the film even before the movie went on to sets. Rajendra Prasad played Tarak’s father and Jagapathi Babu played the negative lead. BVSN Prasad produced the movie on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.

Nannaku Prematho collected Rs 53.8 crores in 18 days of its box-office run across the world.
