Salman Khan Halts ‘Sultan’ Shoot: Bollywood Superstar SalmanKhan is running in his best phase in his career currently. All his recent movies have crossed the magical figure of Rs 100 crore mark. Salman hosted a huge birthday bash for the whole Bollywood which made the event grand and lavishes which even marked his 50th birthday. He managed to release Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo last year out of which all the films ended up collecting decent figures at the box-office.

He came up with Kick which has been produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Jacqueline Fernandez played the female lead which smashed all the records among his films. The movie was a remake of Telugu blockbuster Kick starring Ravi Teja and Ileana. He then teamed up with Kabir Khan for Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is said to be an emotional entertainer.
The movie smashed all the records of Indian cinema and Bajrangi Bhaijaan ended up as the second highest Indian grossed film by minting over Rs 700 crores across the world. Kareena Kapoor Khan played the female lead in the movie which has been produced by ‘Dabangg’ Khan and Kabir Khan.
He then teamed up with Sooraj R Barjatiya after 20 years for the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which is said to be a family entertainer. Salman Khan’s impressive performance as Vijay Singh and Prem made the film sit on the top among the films released for Diwali.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo collected over Rs 400 crores across the world and after an enough gap, he is back with his next movie Sultan. Abbas Ali Zafar is directing the movie which is being made on a huge budget. Salman will be showcased as a wrestler in the film and the movie wrapped up two schedules. Khan will be seen in three completely different roles in the movie and Sultan will have a huge dose of action episodes throughout.
Salman Khan is busy shooting for the movie which is in the third schedule and Anushka Sharma has been finalized to play the female lead. She joined the shoot in the third schedule and Salman is currently in a bulky look as a wrestler after which he will transform himself into a different lean look for the film in a small gap. As per the latest news, Salman canceled the shoot of the film yesterday at the last minute keeping the movie’s unit uninformed.
The complete shoot has been planned and organized, after which Salman called up the unit informing about his absence. Aditya Chopra is producing Sultan on Yash Raj Films banner which will hit the screens in May this year.
