Wazir Review and Rating: Danish Ali (Farhan Akhtar) is an honest ATS Officer who loses his daughter during a terrorist attack. His wife (Aditi Rao Hydari) blames him for the death of his daughter. He loses his job as he takes it to the personal levels in chasing the terrorists.

He then happens to meet Panditji (Amitabh Bachchan) who is wheelchaired after he meets with an accident and it was the time he loses his wife. Panditji shares a good bonding with the ATS Officer after which he asks Ali to investigate a case secretly. It was after this, Panditji gets attacked by an unknown threat called Wazir. The rest of the movie is how Ali unfolds the case ending up in revealing the truth behind Panditji’s daughter’s death. Watch Wazir to know completely about the film.

Wazir Review

The movie has an entertaining and interesting first half throughout. Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar take the film forward with their lively performances on screen. The songs have been shot well and played well though they deviate the concept of the film. The complete first half leaves the audience engaging and thinking about what all happens during the 2nd half. The screenplay has been decent and the dialogues have been written well.

The second half of Wazir has a different story. The film dips badly because of the lack of grip in the screenplay. The story unfolds so easily that everything becomes predictable suddenly.

The film lacks interest during the complete secondhalf of the film. The pre-climax and the climax ends up just on an okay note. The audience will be left in shock completely after the dipped the other half.

Wazir Rating

The talkie performs really better in its first half. The impressive acting of Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar really made the movie interesting at many a times. We would give a rating of Wazir 5/10.

Wazir Castings:

Big B Amitabh Bachchan is undoubtedly the major highlight of the movie and he is the best choice for Panditji’s role. He has been terrific on screen and his expressions have been the major highlights. Farhan Akhtar too has done a challenging role as a struggling cop in which he excelled completely.

Amitabh and Farhan combination episodes are the major assets of the film. Aditi Rao Hydari has been restricted with a limited role and she performed to her best in the given role. Neil Nitin Mukesh has been completely wasted in the character of Wazir in the film. All the other actors have delivered out their best for the movie.

The story of the film has been engaging but what made the difference is the second half with a un-gripping and lose screenplay. The dialogues have been decent and the second half of the film has not been concentrated well. The flaws in the second half have been completely visible.

The music and the background score have been apt and suitable. The cinematography is the major highlight of the flick and the editing has been crisp enough. The production values have been relevant and grand enough. Bejoy Nambiar who is struggling for a hit comes up with one more disappointing film.

After analyzing Wazir Review and Wazir Rating we should say that its must one-time watch for everyone.

Positives:

  • Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar
  • Interesting First Half
  • Cinematography and Music
  • Crisp Runtime

Negatives:

  • Boring and Predictable Second Half
  • Slow Pace
  • Screenplay
  • Direction

Final Word on Wazir Review:

The talkie has some interesting and impressive episodes but the predictable secondhalf without any grip in the screenplay during the second half will make the film end up as a disappointment.
