Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th October 2016: Naira got Kartik’s voice message that he loved her a lot and was waiting for her answer till next day. She got worried. Kartik was lost in Naira’s thought. Rajshri came to him and gave him tea. He said to her if he could tell her something. He rested in her lap. (check: YRKKH Last Episode.)
Naitik was taking medicine but hides it when Akshara came there. She serves him coffee. He said he missed everything. She started crying, but Naitik asked her to forget the bad memories. He asked her if she remembered her promise. She went in and changed and got in a red saree.

Naitik complimented her. He opened his arms for her. Naira and Kartik were thinking about each other. He called her, but she did not answer. She tried to call him again, but her number got off. Akshara saw Mishti crying. Misty said to her that why she was not stopping mom.
She was confused and asked Mishti what she was saying. Naitik asked her if Mishti got to know about Naman. Mishti then told her that Karishma was sending her to boarding school. Akshara got shocked and worried. She went to Karishma and said that even they too were worried but why to send the little girl to boarding school.
Karishma told them that she had to talk to her mom about the school. She said that doctor asked us that Mishti should not get any shock and stress. So she decided to send her away. Karishma came there and told them that she was crying as she planned to send her to boarding school as she would never get to know about Naman.
Karishma said that they would tell her when she grows up. Karishma said that she could not take any chance for Mishti’s heart break. She would stay far and would stay happy. Although it would be hard for Karishma it was for the betterment of her daughter.
Naitik and everyone agreed with her. He asked her to check the school papers. Akshara cried and said that she could not send Mishti away. Kartik got the message and said that how they could send Mishti to the hostel.
Mishti cried and asked Naitik and Akshara as why they were not stopping her from going to boarding school. Mishti asked them to tell the reason as she was not so young and she could understand the things. She asked them not to send her, and she would do everything they wanted.
Akshara cried seeing her. Naitik asked her to calm down as it would lessen the pain that she would get later. He said that things would get better with time. He got pain in his chest and started stumbling.
