Mohit Suri directed the movie and Shraddha Kapoor played the female lead. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 7 crores and it minted Rs 100 crores across the world.

Fitoor trailer caught everyone’s attention and the poetic narration raised the expectations of the film. The movie released all over on February 12th across the world and it collected Rs 3.61 crores on its opening day.
The collections have been quite poor over the weekend and the collections dipped down gradually during the weekdays. Fitoor collected Rs 16.80 crores in five days of its box-office run. Fitoor has been declared as the biggest debacle in the recent times in Bollywood after Ranbir Kapoor’s Bombay Velvet. Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif promoted the film extensively and their sizzling on-screen chemistry too could not save the film’s failure.
