Overview
India is in their best form and looks to win every match they play, they won their first match against Bangladesh by 45 runs and then they won their second match against Pakistan by five wickets. Mohammad Hafeez and Sharjeet Khan opened the innings for Pakistan but both went out cheaply as Hafeez made 4 and Khan made 7. After that nobody really played and Pakistan was all out for 83 in 17.3 overs. Manzoor made 10 in 18 balls, Shoaib Malik made 4 off 12 balls, Akmal made 3 off 4 balls, Sarfraz Ahmed made 25 off 24 balls with three fours, Afridi made 2, Sami made 4 off 12 balls.
India had an easy target to chase but they started off pretty badly as both their openers got out on duck, Sharma and Rahane both were victims of Mohammad Amir.
After that Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli took responsibility of the innings as Kohli made 49 off 51 balls with seven fours and Yuvraj made 14 off 32 balls and as always MS Dhoni scored the winning runs and India won the match.
Sri Lanka played against Bangladesh and lost the game by 23 runs. Bangladesh made 147/7 in 20 overs and then restricted SL to 124/8 and won the match by 23 runs.
