Kalabhavan Mani: Malayalam Actor Dies An Unnatural Death

Kalabhavan Mani Dies: Super talented actor Kalabhavan shot fame all over South with his innovative acting skills. His original name was Mani Raman and he was born on January 1^st, 1971 in Chalakudy, Kerala. He started his career as a drama artist and mimicry artist along with singing songs. He joined Kalabhavan troupe after which he changed his name to Kalabhavan. He has done over 200 films in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies in his career. He is well known for his comedy roles and he even played a villain in many of his movies.

Mani started his career in a Malayalam movie Aksharam in which he played an auto rickshaw driver. He was an auto rickshaw driver by profession before he made his debut in movies. He got married to a physician Dr Nimmy in 2000 and the couple were blessed with a baby girl Sree Lakshmy. He even sang

He even sang a number of songs in his career which included folk and devotional songs. KalabhavanMani slowly shifted focus towards the roles which had negative touches which made him quite popular. He was then approached for Tamil and Telugu movies in which he played the roles.

His role in Tamil and Telugu movie Gemini will be remembered forever. Venkatesh played the lead role in the Telugu version and Vikram played the lead role for the Tamil version of the film. He has been honoured with number of awards in all the languages for his unique performance and style.

KM who came from a poor and economically backward family was a winner though he struggled during his initial days. His works received wide popularity and he has done more than 200 films in his career.

As per the latest news, Kalabhavan has been admitted in Amrita Hospital in Kochi yesterday when he was severely ill. He was critical and was on a ventilator after which the doctors announced at 7:15 PM that Mani passed away. Sources revealed that he has been suffering from kidney and liver related issues from some time.

Kerala state government decided to cremate the actor with all the honours of the state. Kalabhavan even penned scripts for some Malayalam movies and he composed music for some of them.

Mani was approached to contest as MLA from LDF for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections in 2016 but before that Kalabhavan Mani passed away. May his soul rest in peace.
