Kamal Haasan’s Cheekati Rajyam Release Date: South Indian Superstar Padmashri Kamal Haasan is undoubtedly one of the best actors in Indian cinema. He has traveled huge ways all over and achieved many awards and rewards for his performance and works in different fields of cinema. The Government of India awarded him with Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema. He managed to have two releases already this year. Uttama Villan directed by his friend Ramesh Aravind failed to impress the audience though his performance in the film received critical acclaim. He has come up with Papanasam recently which was a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Dhrishyam. Papanasam emerged as one of the biggest hit in his career and he is now getting ready with his upcoming film Thoongavanam which has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The shoot of the movie has been wrapped up in 45 days which is a record.

Rajesh M Selva who has been associated with Kamal from the past few years directed the movie which marks his debut. The film is said to be an intense thriller with a gripping screenplay. Prakash Raj, Trisha, Sampath Raj and Madhu Shalini played the other prominent roles in the movie which has been titled as Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu. The movie has been completely shot in night effect and will discuss the drug mafia.

Kamal will be seen as an undercover cop in the movie and he will be seen in a bearded look for the film. The audio of Thoongavanam has been released some time ago and it has been receiving an exceptional response from the audience. The theatrical trailer increased the heat on the film and the buzz is that the film is expected to have huge and gripping content throughout.

The movie has completed all the censor formalities and it has been awarded U/A certificate with no visual cuts. As per the news from the members of the censor board, the movie has been racy, interesting with unexpected twists and turns. Ghibraan who composed music for Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villan and Papanasam composed the music and the background score for this flick. The makers of Thoongavanam are in plans to release the movie on November 10th all over the world on the occasion of Diwali. The makers have also announced that the Telugu version of the movie will not release on November 10th.

The audio of CheekatiRajyam has been released today and Kamal Haasan held a special press meet announcing that he will support Akhil who is making his debut. Akhil happens to be the younger son of actor Nagarjuna who is making his debut with Akhil. The movie has been slated for release on November 11th during Diwali and hence Kamal postponed the Telugu version. Cheekati Rajyam will release in Telugu on November 20th and will have a comfortable release. Kamal produced CheekatiRajyam on Raajkamal Films International.
