Masters 2016 Winner, Results: Danny Willett won the 2016 Masters tournament after scoring a superb five-under-par 67 and thus took the advantage of the submission of Jordan Spieth. It was an exciting and thrilling final round. (see: National Youth HIV, AIDS Awareness Day 2016.)
The English player won the very first title for himself by three shots. So, he became the first Briton to claim the Masters at an age of 20 years. The 22-year-old defending champion and till last night leader Spieth was leading till the 10th at Augusta, but then his last three shots got dropped in three holes.

The player from America ended his journey with a one-over 73 and had to face a tie at the second spot with Lee Westwood. Westwood is also an English golf player who landed as the Masters runner-up for the second time. (check: Miss India Winner 2016.)
But Spieth will be left ruing a remarkable collapse on the iconic par-three 12th, twice finding the water in front of the green to eventually card a quadruple bogey.
That catapulted Willett, 28, into the outright lead – one that he would not relinquish.
2016 Masters Winner resultThe world number 12 player was playing three groups ahead of Spieth. He got a standing ovation as he went for the 18th green. He competed with his fellow Englishman Nick Faldo in 1996.
After about 30 minutes, Spieth also got a sympathetic reception when he walked towards the clubhouse. It was not a consolation for him when he got emotional. It was given to a two-time major champion.
