MH Common Entrance Test (MHCET) is an entrance examination conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research to seek the candidates who will be able to be a part of future dealings with the students as applicants.

In Maharashtra, DMER has the ultimate control of conducting Common Entrance Test in the state (Maha CET 2016) for the students seeking admission to First Year Full-Time Graduation Courses in Health Sciences (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc. Nursing, B.V.Sc. & AH) and Technical Education (Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Pharm. D.). Entrance test for the year 2016-2017 was conducted last month.
Chinmay Ghanekar from Mumbai had topped the MHCET Examinations scoring highest among all the other boys who appeared for Common Entrance Test. Dr. Pravin Shingare, Chief of DMER has declared the MHCET 2016 Result at the official website to check results online.
Hoping for a seat in Mechanical Engineering stream, Chinmay is also seeking options to join NIT and CoEP (College of Engineering), Pune and VJTI (Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute)
Girls had also well performed in the Examinations giving to the edge competition for the boys. Shrishti Patil scored 199/200 in the medical stream and wanted to get admission in one of the Government Medical Colleges of the state.
