Nagarjuna-Karthi Starer Oopiri Release Date: Akkineni Nagarjuna is busy with his upcoming movie Soggade Chinni Nayana which completed shoot recently. Kalyan Krishna is making his directorial debut with the film and Ramya Krishna, Lavanya Tripathi is the heroines. The recently released theatrical trailer has been getting a homogenous response from the audience and the expectations are huge on the flick. (see: Baahubali VFX Budget.)
Anup Rubens composed the music and the audio of the movie will be released all over on December 27th all over. Nagarjuna produced Soggade Chinni Nayana on Annapurna Studios banner and the movie has been slated for release on January 15th during Sankranthi.

Nagarjuna has been simultaneously shooting for his next movie titled Oopiri and the flick has completed 70% of its shoot. The movie is a remake of a French film Intouchables and the makers have given a break for the shoot as Nag wanted to concentrate and wrap up the shoot of Soggade Chinni Nayana. Nagarjuna and Karthi teamed up for the multistarrer which is a bilingual which will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. Tamannah is playing the female lead in the movie which has been shot exclusively in Hyderabad, Chennai and Paris. The next schedule of the movie will start after Sankranthi and will continue till the makers will wrap up the entire shoot.
The makers have initially announced that Oopiri will release on February 5th across the world. With number of big films surrounded and the movie need to be rushed now to complete shoot, the complete team of Oopiri decided to release the flick during summer.
Vamsi Paidipally is directing the film which has been made on a whopping budget. Nagarjuna wants the movie to be released during pre-summer, i.e during the end of March or during the first week of April. But Karthi revealed that many big Tamil films have been slated for release during the same time.
At the same time, Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam, Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu and Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh are making their plans to hit the screens during summer which left the makers quite confused.
As per the latest we hear, Oopiri will complete all the formalities and will hit the screens on May 6th all over which will be a comfortable date both in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Gopi Sundar is composing the music and top producer Prasad V Potluri is producing Oopiri on PVP Cinema banner. Nagarjuna and Karthi pinned huge hopes on Oopiri and they want the movie to end up as a huge blocbuster.
