SCOTLAND

Talking about Scotland, then it will be the third ruling term for the SNP. However, the party of Nicola Sturgeon just fell short of getting the majority. It ended up getting a total of 63 seats of 129 and thus didn’t get the feat which they got in 2011 by Alex Salmond.

However, Scottish Conservatives got their best result after a period of devolution. It was based on a campaign which defended the Unions and opposed an independece referendum for the second time. As of now, they have 31 MSPs (an increment from 15 in 2011) while Labour went down from 37 to 24 seats.
