He has been introduced as the successor to Megastar Chiranjeevi in acting and he has been entertaining the audience with his energetic performance and electrifying dances all over. Ramcharan played a fighter in the talkie and Megastar Chiranjeevi has been seen in a cameo. The movie has been rejected by the audience completely and Bruce Lee is the biggest debacle of Ramcharan till date. SS Thaman composed the music and DVV Danayya produced the film on DVV Entertainments banner. Charan has been left in huge shock after the release of the movie and the commercial figures proved the film’s debacle.

He then started working for his next film which is said to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan. Jayam Ravi, Nayanathara, and Aravind Swamy played the lead roles in this action thriller which has been produced by AGS Entertainments. Ramcharan acquired the remake rights of the film for a whopping price of Rs 5.5 crores which is huge.
Surendar Reddy has been roped in to direct the movie and Ramcharan has been taking special care on the film. He is participating in the script work of the flick which will be wrapped up soon. Surender Reddy is busy transforming the script so that it suits the nativity of the Telugu audience. Charan will start shooting for the movie from this month revealed sources.

Surendar Reddy wanted Ileana to play the female lead but Charan wanted Nenu Sailaja fame Keerthi Suresh to play the heroine’s role. The makers have also considered Samantha and Sruthi Haasan to play the female lead but the actresses could not allot the dates for the film.
As per the latest news, Rakul Preet will play the female lead in the movie and she has signed for the movie recently. The regular shoot of Rakshak will start from February 16th this year and Hiphop Tamizha will compose the music for Rakshak. Allu Aravind will produce the film on Geetha Arts banner and NV Prasad will present the movie which will hit the screens during Dasara this year.
