After getting criticism on social media and Amazon.In, Chinese smartphone manufacturer decided to take down the stock of Note 3 32GB Variant today. The handset was available on Amazon few hours before, as the users started rating it negatively the rating of the mobile phone comes down to merely 1/5.
Defending their decision, Redmi issued a clarification stating “Demand went off the charts today, and we’re doing our best to bring in more stocks. Don’t worry we will be having another sale on Mar 23, do register for it here now”.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3But their statement is contrary to what happened today. Not even a single second took to the smartphone to go away from the stocks in Amazon and Mi Website as well. However, the 2GB/16GB variant was although available today for booking after the 3GB/32Gb variant goes off the shelves.
The most probable reason for this cancellation could be increasing demand for the 3GB Model, which have reduced the need for low-end one. Although company haven’t issued any clarification regarding a number of models available and sold today.
The company is facing a massive blackout on social media after this decision. One user named Deepak, wrote as a reply “Nah now I’ll not wait for next week again..going for another mobile keep that Beast with you.”
Redmi which observed its booming stage in India during 2015, Now facing a huge criticism in the market for not launching the mobile phones at the correct time and selling the phones with limited stock through flash sales only.
The same have also encouraged black marketing in Olx and Ebay of the handset where the same mobile phone is being sold by some dealers for 14-20 thousand rupees.
