Sardaar Gabbar Singh 2nd Day Collection 2 Days SGS 1st Saturday Box Office Business and Occupancy Report: Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has been busy with multiple films in his career and he scored massive hits like GabbarSingh, Atharintiki Daaredi and Gopala Gopala which minted huge money all over. After an enough gap, he is now back with SGS, which is one of the most awaited films this year. (watch: MI vs RPS.)

The script of Sardar Gabbar Singh has been penned by Pawan Kalyan himself, and he has taken two complete years to pen the complete script. The screenplay of the film too has been penned by Pawan and KS Ravindra directed the movie. SGS has been shot in Gujarat, Hyderabad, and Switzerland.

Pawan Kalyan revealed that the movie is not a sequel for GS however he has been seen in a cop’s role. He selected top technicians and actors for the lead roles, and Kajal Agarwal played the female lead in the movie. Pawan has taken special care on the film, and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.

The audio of Sardar Gabbar Singh is a massive hit and topped the music charts. A special set of Rathanpur has been erected in the outskirts of the city in which 60% of the film has been shot. Sharat Marar produced the movie on North Star Entertainments banner, and the film has been made on a budget of Rs 50 crores.

The movie created huge buzz before the release of the movie, and the makers revealed the complete plot of the film in the trailer. Sharad Kelkar played the negative lead in the movie, and Pawan Kalyan presented the film on Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner.

The film completed all the formalities and released all over on April 8th in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Released between huge expectations the movie received a mixed response from the audience across the world.

SGS stood firm despite the negative reviews and poor word of mouth. The movie collected Rs 20.5 crores on its first day which is the second highest opening for a Telugu film all over. The film minted Rs 5.8 crores on its second day, and the collections dropped drastically all over.

The movie made Rs 26.34 crores in two days of its boxoffice run. Eros International released the film all over, and they acquired the theatrical rights of the film for a huge price of Rs 72 crores. Pawan Kalyan revealed that he had been completely satisfied with the film’s output.
