Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi played the female leads in SCN. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 12 crores and the makers have been shot some of the sequences again as they were not happy with the output. Anup Rubens composed the music and the audio of the movie is a huge hit.

The movie collected Rs 49.8 crores in 23 days of its box-office run. The movie is an also a huge hit in overseas and the talkie is the biggest hit of Nag in all the territories.
