Meanwhile, outside the wedding venue, the atmosphere was opposite. It was surrounded by protest, violence, and dharna. It really affected their grand celebrations. Relatives and friends of the couple got disturbed by such a havoc.
It forced Harbhajan to come out of the house and offered his apologies to the media because the bouncers hired by the newly wed Groom allegedly snatched and some smashed cameras of the journalists. The media persons came to cover this high profile wedding ceremony in Jalandhar.

Some sources also reported that some of those bouncers also misbehaved with the media persons who then sat on dharna outside the venue.
When the situation started getting worse, Harbhajan was forced to come out. Then, he personally met with the media and apologized to the media persons present there. (check: CBSE CTET result.)
Meanwhile, a police case was also filed against unidentified persons relating to the violence connection which happened outside the wedding house of the cricketer and actor.
Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh got married in a Gurudwara in Jalandhar only which is the hometown of the cricketer. Many VIP were present there including Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali to bless them and attend the ceremony. (share: Karva Chauth messages.)
