Overview of Ind vs SA
India played South Africa in the fourth ODI at the MA Chidambaram in Chennai and won by 35 runs to keep the series alive by making it 2-2. India batted first and made 299/5 in the given 50 overs. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opened the batting for India but both went very cheaply as Sharma made 21 runs off 19 balls and Dhawan made 7. Kohli was the hero of the match as he made 138 runs off 140 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes, Rahane and Raina also chipped in with 45 and 53 runs helping Kohli on the way to 299. All over India batted well to make the total which South Africa fell short by 35 runs. Every South African conceded a lot of runs with Kagiso Rabada being the pick of the bowlers with 3-54 in his 10 overs and Dale Staeyn also took 3 wickets but gave 61 runs in the 10 overs he had.
Quinton de Cock and Hashim Amla opened of South Africa but Amla was back at the pavilions with just 7 runs on the score board but Quitnon played well but unfortunately got out on 43 runs. AB de Villiers was the batsmen who played almost till the end making 112 runs 107 balls with 10 fours and 2 sixes but as soon as he got out the Indian bowlers were very quick to get the other players out and won the match comfortably by 35 runs.
