MIUI 7.0 Stable : 7.0.5.0 MICI update Starts rolling out for Mi Note, Redmi 2, Mi4i, Mi4 and Mi Pad

Good news for Mi and Redmi devices users that MIUI 7.0 Stable has been released for the users of chinese smartphone giant. Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Pad, Mi Note, Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2/ Prime would have support for the latest ROM of Mi. Earlier Mi have released the version of MIUI 7, but that version was not stable.

Mi roms have 3 versions in total, Experimental, Developer, and Stable. The experimental version have been released earlier with a choice to upgrade or not. Now the latest MIUI  7.0.5.0 version have been released with pool of new features. The most experimental and desired feature to customise the wallpaper behind the calling screen is also available.

According to MI, the latest ROM have 30% faster system response speed which increased the performance of the mobile. Moreover the diverse part is the handsets of MI will do better performance of battery with this increase. And 30% Increase in Android System Response Time have increased the stability and 10% more battery life is also observed.

Daily lock screen would be one of the most awaited feature in Mi, idea of which was originated from Nokia Lumia handsets. Now Mi devices will have different Lock screens for each day use. Users can enable this feature as Go to setting—Wallpaper–Daily Lock screen–Choose your favorite–Apply

How to upgrade to MIUI 7.0 Stable

There are two method to upgrade to MIUI 7.0 Stable depends on the MIUI version you’re currently using on your device
  1. If you’re using MIUI V5/MIUI 6 stable version on your device, you can update directly on your deivce via OTA, or flash the full ROMs in recovery or using Mi PC Suite.
  2. If you’re using MIUI China developer version or Global beta build, you can flash the full ROMs in recovery mode after wiping all user data.
