Galaxy S7 Release Date
It is slated to have a launch date in February 2016. It’s all versions will sport LTE Cat. 12. Well, it may be rumors, but it has been heard that the company will release it in early 2016. The newer reports have neglected the earlier rumors and these suggest it will see a launch event in February.
There will be uncertainty in actual dates. It can be possible that it will be released in January and launched in February. It seems logical and makes sense. Last time, Note5 was unveiled prior to the expected dates. From the data available, the company may be planning to do something like the last time to surprise all.
Galaxy S7 rumors state that it will be available in two different versions. One will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and manufactured by the company itself. The other one will sport the Exynos 8890 (MI) SoC chipset by Samsung itself. It is being fitted with a similar radio for the very first time.
If you don’t know what LTE Cat. 12 is, then, let us tell you. Theoretically, it is the speed which equals to about 600Mb/s for downloading and 100Mb/s for uploading. For it to work, the network carriers will have to provide such support at the first place.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge specs will be more like of Apple’s iPhone 6s and 6s Plus’ 3D Touch feature, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, faster LTE radio, Sony 12 megapixel rear camera and either a Samsung Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, depending on region.

A post on VC Post said that it will be unveiled in Q3 of 2016 which will sport a 30-MP camera and a massive 8GB RAM. Whatever it may be, it will be better than its predecessor for sure. Moreover, it suggested having a 4k resolution display.
Adding to its specs, it is expected to have a 16MP front camera for selfies and video chatting. It may have a fast charging technology for the efficient performance which is a common thing in at leat high tech devices. It will charge its battery to 40% in just 4 minutes.
It would cost around $1100 as per the latest reports and rumors. Another web portal noted that it will have a new design made up of metal and alloy body. Exynos chipset may be used. The phablet will have a stylus for sure.
Other notable features of this device are a Home button and two speakers on the bottom, a UST Type-C port, thus making it slim and narrow.
