In The Flash S2E18, Zoom kidnapped Caitlin Snow in the last moments after getting Barry’s whole speed force. Barry offered him his speed as Zoom threatened to kill Wally West. Another major revelation came when Iris West was almost admitting to Caitlin that she might have different feelings for Barry. She was seen talking about their Earth-2 counterparts and about the future in which they are married (they got to know about it in the past).
Andrew Kreisberg, the executive producer of the TV series, stated that this whole season has been about Irish and her feelings about Barry. He stated further that it will be interesting to see if she realizes her feelings and a step forward or not. Irish loved Eddie Thorne, and they probably would had a great life ahead if everything hadn’t happened in the finale.
As Irish was seen talking to Caitlin about her feelings, it seems that she is ready to take a step forward and move on. The producer said that they can’t be made together as it would be a disrespect to Eddie’s character and their relationship. They have left all this stuff under the peak temperature, and now, she seems to be ready for the next move. Now, Iris has started feeling that the universe is directing her to something else.
On Iris-Barry moments and relationship towards the The Flash Season 2 finale, Kreisberg commented that the viewers should be ready to witness some twists and turns in it. Moreover, he said that they are expecting Allen-West to move steadily forward.
Tonight’s episode will see Barry trying to readjust his life and live like a normal person and now, he seems to be questioning himself about his place in the Star Labs team. He feels that with his speed gone, Zoom took Caitlin, then someone took Wells and sooner or later everybody will realize that he has been just a regular guy now.

A meta-human with super strength named Griffin Grey (guest star Haig Sutherland) mistakes Harry (Tom Cavanagh) for Earth-1 Harrison Wells and kidnaps him, demanding that Wells cure him from his current condition. Realizing another brilliant Wells could help track Griffin’s location, Barry asks Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) to help. Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) corners Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about The Flash.
Though Barry will donne The Flash’s suit but let’s find out he would really be able to stop the metahuman and rescue Wells without his speed. This episode airs tonight at 8 pm ET on the CW.
