Box Office: Titli, Main Aur Charles, Guddu Ki Gun 1st Week Collections Going Nowhere

Titli, Main Aur Charles, Guddu Ki Gun 1st Week Box Office Collections: The first seven days of the Bollywood’s last Friday releases have been completed. Thus, looking at their business’ trend, it is quite clear that they failed to earn as the makers expected them to. However, there is a slight possibility to recover at least their investments. After the release of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (PRDP) starring Salman Khan, it will become really difficult for them. Thus, they have one more week to do some magic. On one side, MainAurCharles which garnered many positive reviews during screening / pre-release failed to do the same thing on the worldwide box office. Although, the lead star Randeep Hooda has got his own niche of audiences, but it looks like that it was meant to do quite a big business.

The latest release of Randeep opened to a satisfactory collection of Rs. 60 lacs which increased on the 2nd day, i.e., Saturday to Rs. 70 lakhs. It continued its increase in business spree on Sunday too. Thus, making its first-weekend boc to a total of Rs. 2.30 crore. (watch: Bigg Boss 9 day 25.)

Kunal Khemu’s latest venture, till now, has done similar kind of business as of Randeep’s. Speaking up of the figures, then they are almost the same. (read: Pyaar Ka Punchama 2 collections.)

While, the third film – Titli which was released on the same day stars Ranvir Shorey has been low in terms of the box office collection. In its first weekend, it has collected only about Rs. 1 crore which is low in any case. The other two movies have at least collected Rs. 2 crores or more in the first three days of release. The makers of Titli got disappointed to a huge extent and they may suffer financial losses or no profit.

As they approached their seventh day, their income report has been getting diminished and these movies are now raking in low income. So, it is now clear that they are not going to be hit. It will be better for them to at least recover their investment cost.

Titli First Week Collection – Rs. 4 crore*.
MAC First Week Collections – Rs. 6 Cr*.
GudduKiGun First Week Collection – Rs. 5- 6 crore*.
