After scoring a massive hit with the film, he teamed up with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan for the movie Gopala Gopala which ended as a huge commercial hit. The movie is said to be the remake of Bollywood super hit movie Oh, My God.
Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal played the lead roles in the movie which have been replaced by Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh. Kishore Pardasani directed the flick which has been produced by Suresh Babu and Sharat Marar on Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainments banner.

After rejecting 8-9 scripts, he signed a film in the direction of Maruthi which is said to be a comedy entertainer. Venkatesh will be seen as a comedy cop in the talkie and Nayanthara is the heroine.

The movie will complete all the formalities and will hit the screens on July 1st across the world.
As per the latest news, Venkatesh signed a new movie in the direction of Kishore Pardasani who directed Gopala Gopala last year. The movie is said to be the remake of Tamil super hit movie Sethupathy starring Vijay Sethupathy in the lead role. Venkatesh has been completely impressed with the film and he decided to remake the movie.
Suresh Babu produced the movie on Suresh Productions banner. Venkatesh also signed a new film which is also a remake of Bollywood movie Saala Khadoos starring R Madhavan. Sudha Kongara who directed the original will direct the Telugu version and the pre-production work of the movie is also in process.
