Palme d’Or will be awarded today to the most desirable candidate during Cannes Film Festival. Its one of the highest recognised award in the entire entertainment industry held in Cannes, France. The festival has a unique idea of previewing all the new films of all genres, including documentaries, from around the world. The winner of Palme d’Or award for this year will be awarded during the live telecast of film festival.
Not just an ordinary film festival, Cannes Film Festival also features documentaries from small directors and producers from and around the world. The most prestigious and wannabe award given out at Cannes Film Festival is the Palme d’Or (“Golden Palm”) for the best film. A team of judges will announce the winners from the nominations.
