NEET Result 2016 aipmt.nic.in cbseresults.nic.in: The NEET which primarily refers to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is one of the primary medical entrance examination held in India. The candidates study day and night for cracking the NEET exam. The exam is for the students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges anywhere across the country.

NEET Result 2016

The NEET 1st phase was successfully conducted on 1st May 2016, which mainly refers to as the National Eligibility cum Entrance test. Because of certain issues, the Supreme Court, the apex court gave the decision to avail another chance to appear in NEET-2, who appeared in NEET-1.

The second phase was further conducted on 24th July 2016. An approximate number of 4.75 lakhs candidates has registered for the NEET2. Out of this figure, around 90% of the candidates had appeared for the written exam on the scheduled date.

The exam centers were in about 56 cities across the entire country, which consisted of a total of 739 centers. Now, as per the updates and information received by the CBSE authorities, the combined result of NEET1 and NEET 2 is expected to be declared on August 17, 2016.

The exam was also properly conducted in Srinagar and Jammu & Kashmir, an estimate of 93% of the candidates who had registered for the exam had appeared in the written examination. Moreover, to ensure the fair and proper conduct of the examination in the violence-hit Srinagar, not only the CBSE officials but also other 2000 observers were appointed for duty in the test centers.

The state government of the state of Jammu & Kashmir provided great support to the CBSE for smooth conduct of the examination. Mr. Prakash Javadekar, the Human resources development minister also showed his happiness over the successful completion of the NEET2 test in an interview.

Since the NEET1 didn’t go as per the rules and regulations, so to ensure the fair conduct of NEET2, the CBSE chairperson itself visited a few examination centers in Noida and Ghaziabad.

Since the result is expected by 17th August 2016, the candidates who appeared for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website of CBSE regarding any of the notification for the same exam.

In the result to be declared, the names of those candidates would be displayed who had secured the minimum qualifying marks. Further, the selected candidates would be called for the counseling procedure.

Although the result would be declared later this month yet the candidates can check their respective OMR sheets for Phase 1, Phase 2 exam on 4th August 2016 on the official website i.e. www.aipmt.nic.in.

Once the counseling procedure gets completed, the candidates will be allotted the seat based on their rank in the exam.

Steps to Check NEET Results 2016
• Firstly, open the official website, namely, www.aipmt.nic.in.
• Now, press the link which shows ‘NEET Phase 1, Phase 2 Results 2016’.
• Fill up your roll number and required details.
• Enter on the ‘submit’ button.
• The screen would show the result.
• Make a download for the same.
• Offer a print out for future uses.
