Bajirao Mastani First Weekend Sunday Collections and Occupancy Report | Bajirao Mastani Collections: Maverick director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has directed many classics in Bollywood has preferred helming periodic dramas in the recent times. His last movie Ram Leela has been high on controversies and the talkie ended as a huge blockbuster all over collecting over Rs 100 crores.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone played the lead roles in the movie which has been produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Bhansali Productions banner. Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself composed the music and the audio of the talkie has been a huge hit all over.

After a huge gap, he is back with his latest movie BM which has been shot for over two years. Bhansali has been working on the script from the past few years and the flick has been delayed as the makers could not get the right cast on the board.

There are a lot of rumors about the cast of the flick but finally, Bhansali had Ranveer Singh and Deepika to play the roles of Bajiraao and Mastaani respectively. The shoot of the film started in 2013 and Ranveer alone shot for the flick for over 200 days. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 210 crores and Priyanka Chopra played Kashibhai, the wife of Bajirao in the movie.

th in a record number of screens across the world. The theatrical trailer of the flick caught the attention of the audience and the film released in over 6000 screens across the world. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra played the lead roles in the movie. BM opened to mixed reviews across the audience as the film has been slow on narration though it has pleased performances and lavish sets throughout the film. Bajirao Mastani collected Rs 12.80 crores on its first day and the movie faced tough competition from Shahrukh Khan’s latest movie Diwali which released on the same day along with Bajirao Mastani.

Bajirao Mastani witnessed huge growth on the second day in spite of the negative talk and the film collected Rs 15.52 crores. The talkie had huge growth among the multiplexes and BM made Rs 28.32 crores. The talkie maintained the same pace on its third day and BM collected Rs 16.75 crores on its third day.
