Balakrishna Confirms his 100th film: Nandamuri Balakrishna is back to action and he has been signing back to back films in his career. After a super hit like Legend in the direction of Boyapati Srinu, he got his energy doubled and moved on to his next project last year titled NBK Lion. (see: Akshay Kumar in Tamil Remake.)
Debutant director Satyadeva directed this action entertainer which ended as the biggest debacle in his career. Trisha and Radhika Apte played the female leads in the movie which has been produced by Rudrapati Rama Rao. Balakrishna is now quite careful about his next film.
Balakrishna 100th Film: Sequel of Aditya 369, Singeetham Srinivas Rao To Direct
He signed his upcoming movie titled Dictator in the direction of talented director Sriwass who earlier directed super hit movie Loukyam starring Gopichand and Rakul Preet Singh. Dictator is said to be a mass entertainer which has been shot exclusively in Hyderabad, Europe and New Delhi. Anjali and Sonal Chauhan played the female leads in the film and Dictator has been made on a budget of Rs 26 crores.
The movie completed shoot and it released all over during Sankranthi this year. Dictator received exceptional response from the audience all over and Balakrishna has been lauded well for his powerful and stylish presence along with his performance. The whole movie unit has been happy with the film’s collections and they even celebrated a success party recently.
Balakrishna is now busy with his political assignments and will take two months break from films. There are a lot of rumors floating all over about his next film which marks his 100th movie in his career in Tollywood. Talented director Boyapati Srinu who directed Simha and Legend with Balakrishna is rumored to direct the film. There are rumors that the script of the film has been finalized and the regular shoot is expected to start from May this year once Boyapati wraps up his work for Allu Arjun and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Sarainodu.
Balakrishna happened to meet Telangana CM KCR to discuss about the expansion of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. SingeethamSrinivas Rao who directed the movie will direct the sequel which has been titled as Aditya 999. He also revealed that his son Nandamuri Mokshagna will make his debut with this movie though he will have limited screen presence. Eros International will produce the flick which will start rolling from April this year. The other cast, crew are currently being finalized.
