His last movie Kick 2 which released recently ended as a debacle in his career. Surendar Reddy directed the movie which has been made on a budget of Rs 45 crores. Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead in the film and Nandamuri Kalyanram produced Kick 2 on NTR Arts banner.

The makers along with the buyers lost huge with the film and coming out from the debacle of Kick 2, Ravi Teja wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film titled BengalTiger. The movie is said to be an out and out commercial entertainer which has been directed by Sampath Nandi.
The movie has been made on a decent budget and the film’s release has been pushed due to various movies surrounded. The makers of BengalTiger aimed to release the film during Dasara but they have opted out because of Ramcharan’s Bruce Lee. They have then announced that the film will release on November 11th
The trailer of the movie has been getting exceptional response from the audience and the makers of BengalTiger aimed to release the movie on time to take the advantage of craze that the audience have on the film. But with the entry of Size Zero starring Anushka, Arya and Sonal Chauhan, BengalTiger has been postponed to December without informing the lead actor Ravi Teja.
He has been left in huge shock with the further postponement of the film. Sources say that the producer Prasad V Potluri who produced Size Zero wanted his movie to have a solo and comfortable release. After discussing with the producer of Bengal Tiger, he announced the release date which left RaviTeja in shock.

With nothing much to do, Ravi Teja is currently shooting for his next movie Evaro Okaru in the direction of Venu Sriram who earlier directed Oh My Friend . Dil Raju is producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
