Bogan 2nd Day Collection 2 Days Bogan 1st Friday Box Office Business and Occupancy Report: The latest Tamil (Kollywood) movie Bogan released this Thursday. It stars Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy in lead roles. It witnessed a very warm opening especially in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu on the first day.
Sri Green Productions is distributing the newly launched movie. Earlier, the productions had distributed Vijaya starrer Bairavaa in the state. The distributors may not be fully prepared as the film got preponed on a very short notice which released last week only.

Despite the hurry, Sri Green Productions has assured the producers that the flick has been released on a sufficient number of screens across India. The movie got around 360 screens in Tamil Nadu. The significant share of screens went in Chennai and Chengalpettu where the film was released on over 90 screens.
The first day collections of Bogan has revealed that it has got the second biggest opening in 2017 after Vijay’s Bairavaa. Bairava was released in January 2017 during Pongal to enjoy the business as much as it can. So, it collected Rs. 12.5 crores on its opening day. Bogan’s 1st day earnings (Rs. 6 cr) include its advance bookings.

Speaking of some of the big cities like Chennai, the film witnessed over 65 percent occupancy on an average on Thursday. Overall, the average occupancy recorded was 55% in the state. The film has started getting good word of mouth, and thus, the Bogan collections are expected to increase over the coming first weekend.

Bogan is going to face a box office clash with Suriya’s upcoming movie Singam 3 aka S3 which is scheduled to release next week on February 9. Thus, the biggest challenge for Jayam’s starrer will be to retain enough number of screens to keep its business growing.
