Box Office Update: Neerja is doing a great business in India and overseas market even after the week 3, so far we have observed the despite having its 3rd week, the Neerja collections are much better on the box office than the many other recent releases like Tere Bin Laden Once Again and Aligarh.
Although Aligarh got somewhat similar positive response from the movie critics but failed to survive on a long run. Collecting 32% money of the movie released on the same day, Neerja tops the overall box office trends today. Aligarh was below average meanwhile by fall ing earnings in some crores only.
The total Neerja collection for 3rd Friday was 1.28 cr and on the saturday which is a weekend it collected around 2.37 crore rupees. The trends are positive so far in comparison to any of the recently released Bollywood movie.
Jai Gangaajal Box Office CollectionsOverseas market has been well captured by Jai Gangaajal and Neerja as well, Jai Gangaajal who features Priyanka Chopra in leading role have buzz of actress in the United States and Canada which tops the TRP ratings in the foreign market as well.
So far Neerja Box Office Collections has been reached to 80 Crore rupees including the 20 crores earned from other countries. Dropping launch in Pakistan because of ban by authorities over there was somehow missed a great portion of revenue for the film.
Neerja collectionJai Gangaajal initial screening was done in 2600 screens in India excluding the 300 plus screens overseas, of which most of them are in USA and Dubai. Film opened to 23% occupancy which helped it to total around 4.25 crores as the first day collections.
Film collected 29 lakhs nett in CP, 21 lakhs nett in CI and 24 lakhs nett in Rajasthan during the first day. Jai Gangaajal collections for the first weekend day, i.e Saturday was around 6 crores as audience has increased in theaters after talkie received positive response from movie critics.
