The episode begins with Sandhya wishing everyone Happy Republic day and distributing SOoraj’s tricolor sweets and everyone happily has them and hear a beep. What the officers see from it is coming and come to know that there is a bomb in a bouquet. Sandhya thinks os that man did this and goes to check and the officer ask her not to go but she goes and removes all the flowers and Sooraj worries. She sees it and says it just a watch and they are trying to scare us with their petty tricks.

She says they are testing us and we must not lose to them. Arzoo comes there and asks for forms to go to India and he says there’s no office today as they are celebrating Republic day. Arzoo requests him and Resham says fine and takes her away. Arzoo thinks she must get those papers no matter what and make Resham happy as she is always worrying. Sandhya promises their safety and asks them to get on with the preparations.Sandhya asks someone to sing Saare Jahaan Se Acha as he sings and asks the other to showcase his talents and everyone laugh.
Diya Aur Baati Hum 1st February 2016Meenakshi goes to Gupta’s house to take papers and stops a snack stall and Bhabho, Babasa and Chotu to come there to buy snacks for family and Meenakshi hides her face thinking it BHabhosees her now, everything is finished. Arzoo goes inside and takes the forms thinking that no one ill notice and hears some footsteps and hides.
A man comes there and takes Indian Flag and Arzoo finds that fishy and follows hm and sees he was giving the flag to a turban wearing guy and says your work is done. Babasa and Chotu meet the lawyer to get Chotu’s adoption papers and Meenakshi wonders what letter did Resham send them.
Gupta asks them about their inlaws from Hyderabad, Pa.. She asks him where to sign. The vendor mistakingly gives her snack to Babasa and he has it and thinks it as a complimentary and Meenakshi thinks Babasa will have the stomach ache today for having her snack. Babasa says I heard Meenakshi and Bhabho says him to have food, and says how can she be here. Meenakshi feels relieved. Chotu enjoys their argument.
A man says the flag is not there and Sandhya sys I kept it right here in a glass box and says someone from us has taken it off. who is that one and Sooraj say only 15 mins remaining? Arzoo calls Sandhya and says the entire story and Sandhya ask her for her name and she says Ar and says think me as a citizen who loves good relations between the countries.
Diya Aur Baati Hum 1st February 2016Sandhya thanks her and she catch the culprit and slaps him. She sys he is the traitor and goes out and see guard fallen and asks who did this and he shows a glass box tied to the rope at much height. Sandhya thinks glass box can fall down but flag must now fall.
The officer, that turban-wearing guy is Gul and says we must celebrations and Sandhya says what are you saying? Are you ashamed and scared? She says no ones plans can weaken us and holds hands and asks everyone to sing Saare Jaha Se Acha and them start singing in fear. Sandhya gets glad seeing Sooraj.
