He owns a production house Red Chillies Entertainments and he has been endorsing various International brands. He has come up with Don which has been a stylish action entertainer years back. Farhan Akhtar directed the movie in which Shahrukh has been showcased as a stylish don in the film.

Priyanka Chopra played the female lead in the movie which ended as a huge hit all over. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani produced the film on Excel Entertainments banner. Arjun Rampal, Isha Gopikkar and Boman Irani played the other important roles in it and the movie collected three times to the investment on which it has been made. The flick released in 2006 and the makers have come up with the sequel which has been titled as Don2.
Farhan Akhtar directed the sequel too and the movie has been projected in a more stylish way. Don2 has been made on a massive budget and Farhan returned back to direction after years. Don2 had Kunal Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan in cameos and Priyanka Chopra played the female lead in the film.
Leaving everyone in surprise, the film failed to entertain the audience and Don 2 ended as a below average film at the box-office. Shahrukh Khan along with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani produced the flick on Red Chillies Entertainments and Excel Entertainments banner. Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Alyy Khan played the other important roles. The movie released in 2011 all over the world.
Now after a gap of almost 5 years, the makers are now in plans for the third instalment of the film. The movie has been titled as Don 3 and Farhan Akhtar is currently preparing the complete script after he impressed Shahrukh Khan with the initial draft. The pre-production work of the film will be wrapped up by March and the regular shoot of Don3 will start from July this year.
