Opening First Friday Box OfficeNow one such film that has been making tremendous noise is Jackson Durai (titled in Tamil) which has been titled as Dora in Telugu. Top actor Satyaraj played the lead role in the movie though it has been crisp and short enough.
Dharani Dharan directed the film and Satyaraj, Sibiraj; Bindu Madhavi played the lead roles in this talkie which is said to be a horror comedy. Favorite comedian Karunakaran essayed a decent role in the flick. Siddarth Vipin composed the music, and Vivek Harshan is the editor. The movie has been produced by MS Sharavanan on Sri Green Productions.
The Telugu version of the film has been titled as Dora, and it has been produced by Jakkam Jawahar Babu on Ratna Celluloid. JD released in over 1500 screens across the world in Telugu and Tamil versions.
The movie’s release has been pushed several times due to various reasons and the film finally made it for release on July 1st. Dora received an inadequate response from the audience because of the poor content. The second half of the movie is a huge letdown, and the audience rejected the film.

Satyaraj’s performance has been widely praised all over, and the Telugu version of the movie collected Rs 45 lakhs on its first day. JD collected Rs 1.8 crores in Tamil Nadu, which has been decent.
Satyaraj’s performance has been well praised by the audience and Sibiraj’s performance along with Karunakaran’s entertainment are the other assets. JD is expected to end up as a debacle all over.
